The Job:
As part of a team who contributes to the ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of the Group, you will be responsible for conducting financial and operational audit of the companies within the Group.  These include process documentation, risk identification & assessment, evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring compliance with established Group policies and procedures. You are expected to be able to interpret audit results, develop value-adding recommendations to mitigate the risks and prepare audit reports.  You will also be required to research into new audit techniques and contribute towards continuing initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of internal controls in the Group.

Requirements :
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
  • Preferably CPA / CIA / CFE
  • At least 2 - 3 years of audit experience in a large organisation or an international public accounting firm.
  • Exposure to hospitality, residential, commercial or retail business audits is preferable.
  • Proficiency in written & spoken English and Mandarin.  Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and familiarity with organisational best practices
  • Willingness to travel overseas extensively

Desktop Manager
 
The Job:
You will lead a team of Engineers to provide CapitaLand needs in the area of end-user computing, asset management and procurement. You will set and measure KPI for technical support, procurement and asset management; develop, implement and refine incident and problem management processes, procurement and asset life-cycle management; manage maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, service agreements for organisational hardware and software, and ensuring physical reconciliation.
 
Other duties include optimising asset control and inventory management process to track accountability, identification, location, contracts and life-cycle status as well as overseeing optimal stocking of IT spares to meet operational needs. In addition, you will ensure full compliance for software licensing; oversee support staff deployment daily; and liaise with various CapitaLand IT functions and external parties in troubleshooting efforts.
 
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• 8 years of experience in IT with 3 years in a leadership position
• Preference will be given to those with experience in managing desktop operations in a large organisation
• Knowledge of MCP, CITPM and ITIL

Key Job Responsibilities:

Payroll and Benefits Assistant, Share Services
 
The Job:
You will assist with the payroll checking and benefits administration. Your duties include ensuring timely and accurate payroll and CPF payments; checking of transport and overtime claims against work schedules; submission of NS make-up pay claims; ensuring timely and proper iFlex and leave enrolment of new hires; performing billings and cost allocations and attending to employees’ queries relating to payroll and benefits. The Job:
  • Provide PeopleSoft HCM application support which includes response, resolve and track production problems, enhancements related to the application.

Risk Management Executive
 
The Job:
 
  • Responsible for Risk Evaluations for new Investment proposals submitted by all SBUs of the CapitaLand group.
  • Responsible to write-up independently written risk evaluations which assess all material risks as presented in the approval paper and make proposals to enhance the risk structure of the deal to the top management of the SBU and corporate.
  • Able to analyse a new investment proposal from all angles to identify and clearly present the risks – i.e. financial evaluation, industry risk assessment, country risk evaluation, legal structuring, cross border tax efficiency, interest rate and foreign exchange risk evaluation.
  • Check the accurateness of financial projections, assesses the reasonableness of the assumptions used in the forecasts, benchmarks them against industry data, assesses future macroeconomic developments impacting the cash flow generating ability of the project, and makes a qualitative judgment if return is adequate for the level of risks undertaken.
  • Able to independently guide + discuss with senior management of business development units the deal structure to optimize the risk return equation for all new business underwriting.
  • Able to assess the credit strength of project partners or third parties based on annual reports and Bloomberg reports.
  • Secondary responsibility for portfolio risk reporting to the Risk Committee. Should have a basic understanding of Value-at-Risk models, development of Capital Asset Pricing Models and country limit risk methodologies. Also should have some knowledge of option pricing methodologies like Monte Carlo Simulation, Binominal Option Pricing models and Black Scholes model.
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics
  • Some working experience in Risk Management of financial institutions or business development in the project finance area would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical background - experience in financial statement analysis especially for project finance structures (i.e. building of project cash flow models), including expertise in EXCEL.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Risk training/education plans
  • Able to confidently communicate with top management, and able to discuss issues with all levels in the organization without coming across as hierarchical and at the same time able to stand his/her ground when under pressure.
